I hope you and all of the Cabaret for Life members are doing well!
Thank you for your continued support of our children’s hospital. I wanted to share wonderful news with you and CFL to show how your generous donations are used to help enhance the lives of our patients and their families.
We have successfully implemented our new NicView System recently, which was made possible through philanthropy. Last year, we unveiled a brand new state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) featuring nine private rooms, two twin rooms and 13 baby bassinets for our most acute newborns. The new private rooms, which have individual vital sign monitors and reclining chairs for parents, provide a more calming environment for the babies. They are also protected from noise, disruptive lights, and sensory overload.
Through generous donors like you and CFL, we have become fortunate enough to fully equip our new NICU with the NicView System—a virtual visit. This is done with live-streaming cameras that make it possible for parents to view their newborns from any location through a secure online portal. This technology makes it possible for families to bond with their preemie from any computer or mobile device.
Here is a video featuring the NicView System now up and running at our children’s hospital:
I’d love the opportunity to invite you and CFL members in to see the system live and hear from our team. It’s extremely impressive and so rewarding to see families appreciate the fact they can now see their little one grow from afar. It makes a scary time a little less stressful, and CFL played a huge role.
If you’re interested in visiting us, please contact me directly at 732.751.5134 or by e-mail email@example.com. I hope you can join us for an exclusive tour.
Thank you again for helping us create a unique and unforgettable experience for our families. I look forward to working with CFL in 2016 and beyond!

The John C. Rodriguez Scholarship was awarded to four worthy high school seniors this year, all of which will be pursuing a career in theater. This is Cabaret for Life’s eleventh year of offering this scholarship, named in honor of one of your Honorary Trustees and the husband of Trustee Bonnie Carolan. We are pleased to share this year’s four winners and to welcome them to the Cabaret for Life family. Best wishes and congratulations to all!
